This healing spring salve brings together violet leaves and plantain leaves. Plantain, Plantago lanceolata, and violet, Viola odorata, are nature’s Band-Aid when you are at a picnic and need quick relief from a wasp bite. They are both cooling, moisturizing, and pain relieving to hot, red skin. We combined them in the salve for a super soothing and healing balm that should be used frequently and liberally on all skin irritations.
